These pneumatic retractable tailwheels are built the same as our large-scale mechanical tailwheels, except they include an air cylinder mounted right to the frame of the tailwheel. All you need to do is run the airline to the tailwheel, mount your wheel, and you're ready to go. Designed for large and giant scale model airplanes weighing up to 40 lbs.

Ziroli F6F Hellcat 100 degree Pneumatic Heavy Duty Rotating Retract. (pair)
These were designed specifically for the Ziroli F6F Hellcat or other aircraft up to 50 lbs. These retracts feature heavy duty side frames with steel bearings, and 5/8" diameter struts.
These pneumatically operated retracts are constructed from aircraft steel and aluminum components. They feature positive up-locks, functional 4130 chrome moly steel oleo struts, triple sealed 5/8" diameter air cylinder and 1/4-inch axles. The struts rotate 96 degrees when retracted.
