I was impressed with the quality of the 3/32" sheet. All weighed in between 7 and 8 lb/cu. ft. With straight grain.
The 3/8 x 6 x 36 sheets you sent me were perfect for the large balsa wood butterflys I needed to duplicate. The quality was flawless and arrived promptly.
Not that I really needed additional spruce at this time, but since I was purchasing some light grade 1/16 balsa I added a few other items to the cart.
It was all very reasonably priced and fortunately it topped the scales to have free shipping included.
Not only were the items dispatched the same day, they arrived the next, admittedly I'm in RI, so not too far, but am very appreciative to have a great outfit in the area with quality material.

Needed an order quickly to replenish classroom supplies in a hurry. My order was processed and sent the same afternoon and it arrived the next day! Also, much(!) better balsa wood than from my previous vendor. Will switch to NationalBalsa for future balsa stick orders.
I like how the wood was stacked and tightly wrapped for shipping. Also, I liked the extra packing that you placed in the cardboard box so the wood would not bounce around during shipping. The balsa wood appears to be in excellent condition, and I think it will be just fine for my next project. Also, the maple wood sheet is in good condition as well as the dowel and maple sticks.
I think your prices are very reasonable and competitive with other suppliers. When I placed my order, I did not expect such timely processing and speedy delivery. So, I thank you for that.

Quality of the wood is good. All of the Lazer cut parts were labeled and taped to their sheets to keep them in place.

Just thought I'd send you a picture of the canoe I built with 1/4x3/4x48 balsa strips from your shop. It's 20 feet long, 4 feet wide, weighs about 100 lbs and survived its first outing on the lakes of the Allagash waterway.

"My engineering class (high school seniors) created a suspension bridge from balsa you supplied last year. It took my entire class of 18 students about 4 months to build. In the end, a 50lb cart drove across the full length of the bridge and I stood in the middle of the span with a total load of 200lbs on the road deck. The bridge itself is 2m long and 40 cm wide with a tower height of about 1m."
