Shipping policy

We offer $19.95 promotional shipping. You must select the "Our Best Way" to get this shipping option, if you select a ground shipping option you will be charged for that, and it will be shipped that way. Our best way shipping is where you only pay our set rate, and we ship whichever is cheapest for us whether it is UPS, FedEx or USPS. This shipping method only applies for orders shipped in the continental US. Please understand that we are a victim to our shipping carriers and will always charge shipping accordingly however with the pricing being dimensionally we can only go so low.

We offer Free Shipping for orders that are placed online and over $125. You MUST select the free shipping option during checkout when you get to the shipping method checkout screen. The free shipping will not automatically be applied to your order. Orders that are placed over the phone or through email do not qualify for free shipping. Those orders are all submitted with the standard ground shipping price unless otherwise specified upon placing the order. Purchase orders do not qualify for free shipping.

SHIPPING FOR SCHOOL PURCHASE ORDERS: 10% of purchase order or $19.95 minimum. Please refer to our school purchase order policy page for additional information regarding submitting your school purchase order. (School Purchase Orders – National Balsa)

If shipping to a PO Box you MUST select USPS for the shipping option. All other shipping methods will require a physical address to ship to.

Orders being shipped outside the continental US (including Alaska & Hawaii) will be shipped USPS and will be charged exact shipping cost. We might contact you for any additional shipping charges. Please feel free to contact us prior to checking out so we can look into the cheapest and most affordable shipping option for you.

If you are located outside US and we ship to you, please be advised that we are not responsible for your countries custom fee's or taxes.

Orders typically ship within 2-5 business days unless shipping is upgraded. (UPS/FedEx Ground or Home Delivery or USPS Priority Mail is not upgraded shipping, and the order will not be expedited. If you need your order expedited you must select FedEx Priority Overnight, FedEx Standard Overnight, FedEx 2Day, UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS 3 Day Select). This does not mean that the order will go out the same day it is placed. We will try our best, but it is NOT guaranteed. 

If you are a student or working with a deadline, please notate that in the notes at checkout. We try our best to accommodate all deadlines but it is NOT guaranteed.

The shipping time listed at checkout is NOT the delivery time. It is just the time that the shipping carrier states the delivery will take once the order leaves our shop. Our normal order processing time is 2-5 business days. This is only an estimated time, and the carrier might have delays which are out of our control.

If you reject a package, YOU will be responsible for the charge to send the package back to us along with the standard restocking fee of 20%. NO exceptions.

If order is returned for incorrect address, you will be responsible for reshipment fee if the address provided was incorrect.
