This 1/4 x 12 x 48 Lite Ply Italian Poplar is of premium quality. Its metric measurements have been converted to English equivalents, as is the case with all aircraft-grade plywood. Though we aim to provide the highest quality possible, the rough-cut nature makes it difficult to guarantee that each sheet is perfectly flat and straight. Additionally, exact sizes and freedom from saw blade chipping cannot be assured.

Phil Dippel Been buying this plywood from National Balsa for almost 25 years. I use for my line of large scale railroad rolling stock kits. Eric is kind enough to cross cut the plywood for me so when I scribe and laser it, the car side scribing follows the grain of the plywood giving the cars a more realistic finish. Besides the plywood, I buy all my other basswood plank and stick wood pieces from them. National Balsa is integral part of my business.
